Reconciledrill

Level 2: Bank charges and credits Exercise 9 of 30 Pro

A customer's check bounced

A bank reconciliation exercise from Reconciledrill. Solve it with a bank statement and cash book side by side in your browser, and it is checked the moment you submit.

The task

Classify every line on the bank statement and in the cash book, then enter the adjusted bank and book balances.

What this exercise teaches

An NSF check reverses a deposit the books still count, so it is deducted from the book balance. The fee is a separate bank fee.

A hint if you get stuck

NSF means not sufficient funds: the customer's check was deposited, then taken back by the bank.
